After painting hundreds of portraits, I can tell you, each one has it's own challenge. People have their ideas about how they want to look and I try to accomodate those wishes. Pets on the other hand, are easy to please. However, I approach both people and pets with the same earnest effort!
You may email a favorite photo to work from, or I can meet with you to take reference photography and meet the subject. This gives me the wonderful opportunity to see perosnalities and the bond between pet and owner.
A beautiful painting of a scene from your travels or of your favorite place(s) is also great for commissions. Why go shopping for art that might work in your home when you can get exactly what you want with a commissioned painting?
